The Training Committee of the WDBTA aims to produce guidance, informed by research and expert opinion (where research does not exist), for individuals, training organisations and DBT learned societies seeking to deliver DBT training to the highest possible standards.
Guidance will be developed in relation to the qualifications and skills necessary to train the treatment; recommended contents of curricula for training; qualifications and skills for supervisors and consultants; and strategies for effective implementation within systems and in countries.
The WDBTA Treatment Integrity Committee works to maintain DBT treatment integrity by providing standards for essential theoretical and intervention aspects of DBT, and reviewing new DBT work products with regard to these standards upon request.
